Questions.
Is Sota free?
Yes. Money matches are optional and coming later.
Do I have to bet money?
Never. Stakes are opt-in, for verified adults, where it's legal.
How do you know who won?
Basketball: our camera AI counts the makes. Other sports: both players report, and the recording settles disputes.
What's the difference between casual and ranked?
Casual is for fun and open to everyone. Ranked moves your Elo and needs an ID check.
Can I play with friends?
Yes. Challenge friends directly, or team up for basketball, 2v2 to 5v5.
When can I play?
The iPhone beta opens to the waitlist first.
